Leonard Forsythe, Jr.

Leonard Forsythe,,Jr., 60, Johnstown, died February 19, 2021.  He was born on May 9, 1960 in Richmond, VA, son of Leonard and Joyce (Elliott) Forsythe.  He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Forsythe, Sr.  He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother.  Surviving are his mother, daughter Heather Mack (Cheyenne); Alissa Sitton (Dwayne); Nicole Taylor.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, brothers Thomas and Ken Forsythe; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  While working and raising his children, he pushed himself through school to further his welding career as a union iron worker.  Riding motorcycles, hunting, and traveling were some of his many hobbies.  He was known for his head full of hair, amazing work ethic, and love for his family.  Friends will be received from 3-7 PM on Wednesday at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.  Funeral service will be private.  Interment at Grandview Cemetery.  Masks and social distancing will be required.  Flowers and donations may be sent to 652 Linden Ave., Johnstown, PA  15902
