Lisa A. (Bisch) Lester

Lisa A. (Bisch) Lester, 56, Geistown, died January 29, 2020 at her residence.  Born September 19, 1963 in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Clara (Stevens) Bisch.  Also preceded in death by sister Diane Bisch and partner Anthony George.  Survived by sister Janice Kimball (Jeffrey) and nieces Allison Shiotani (Elliott) and Kristen, along with great nephew Easton.  Lisa loved her pets, Sunshine, Misty, Smokey and Leah.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  She was formerly employed as a manager at both Big Boy and Perkins Restaurants, and a certified peer specialist at PEERSTAR. Many thanks to Barb, Jordan, Justin, Martin, Tina and many others who helped care for Lisa.  Friends will be received at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM, Revs. Robert Wolf and Michael Van Dyke officiating.  In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Ext., Johnstown, PA  15904.
