Lois E. (Hunt) Leidy

Lois E. Leidy, 101, died February 18, 2022 in New Mexico.  Born August 6, 1920 in Mineral Point, PA, daughter of Theodore “Ted” and Ivy (Metzger) Hunt.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Wilbur B. Leidy; infant sister Evana, along with sisters Elma Koon and Maxine Lehman and brother John Hunt.  Survived by son Rev. Arnold G. Leidy (Alana), NM; grandchildren Ross Leidy (Renee), Medina, OH; Scott Leidy (Daniela), Catawba, NC; Jennifer Sanchez (Steve), Terre Haute, IN; Jessica Norman (Joshua), Oklahoma City, OK.  Also surviving are great-grandchildren Alida Leidy, Elias Leidy, Ezra Sanchez, Silas Sanchez and Mikah Leidy, along with sister Sara Jean Snyder, Johnstown.  Lois was affiliated with the Church of the Brethren and Church of the Nazarene.  Friends will be received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM.  Interment Wesley Chapel cemetery.
