Louise E. Fisher

Louise E. Fisher, 92, Southmont, died September 21, 2023.  She was born in Johnstown, November 11, 1930, daughter of the late Francis J., and Margaret (Kershenstein) McCormick, also predeceased by beloved husband, Robert J. Fisher in 2017.  Survived by children, Robert F. Fisher, married to Padmavati, Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Mary Margaret Fisher, Pittsburgh; Constance (Connie) Louise Fisher, married to Graham Murphy, Herndon, VA; and Rev. Captain Charles C. Ugo; and grandchildren Brianna Murphy and Ravi Kieran Fisher. Louise taught at Lower Yoder grade school from 1952-1955 and Greater Johnstown High School 1965-1993.  A member of the Serra Club of Cambria County, and Our Mother of Sorrows Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday, the Very Rev. Mark Begly. Interment Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received from 2-5 PM on Monday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Assn. or a charity of choice, in memory of Louise.
