Margaret (Ziesman) Hearn

Margaret (Ziesman) Hearn, went to be with the Lord, July 1, 2021, at the age of 95.  She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Gustave and Elizabeth (Cable) Ziesman, and she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold, and brothers, Sonny, Larry, Ebby and Jimmy; sister Naomi Crouch, and her grandson, BJ Kessler.  She is survived by daughters, Yvonne (Carl) Dinwiddie, and Diana (Robert) Kessler; and sons John Hearn and Paul Hearn; she also was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  Also surviving are sisters Shirley Pellizzari (Tony); Marilyn Bercaw (Chuck); and brother Glen Ziesman (Sue).  Margaret loved attending church, and was a member of Morrellville Church of the Brethren, and while visiting Diana and Robert, attended Treasure Lake Church in DuBois.  Margaret was a good cook, enjoying baking, especially the cookies that her family looked forward to. She loved country music and hymns, and while her kids grew up, the house was filled with music, with the entire family playing instruments and singing.  She also enjoyed gardening in her spare time.  Friends will be received at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd. on Tuesday from 4-7 PM, where services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, Rev. John Manges officiating.  Interment Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Morrellville Church of the Brethren.
