Marvin Lecon Price

Marvin Lecon Price was born on July 22, 1981 to parents Candace Price and Marvin (April) Akers in Pittsburgh, PA.  He had his certification in fiber optics and ran his own real estate business.  Lecon is known to be the protector of the family and was someone everyone could lean on.  We will miss his smile and all his funny jokes.  He loved all his family and children dearly.  He impacted so many lives with his beautiful outgoing spirit.  He will be missed dearly especially by his mother/best friend.  Preceded in death by great grandparents Milton and Inez, his paternal grandparents Daniel and Elizabeth Akers, his maternal grandparents Cordoza Mills, Geraldine Price and William (Gandy) Hardwick.  Survived by his parents, his 8 children Inez, Azariah, Xzayvion, Courtney, Marvin Jr., Lecon,  Kautious, and Emerald along with siblings: Laron, Marquala, LaShaun, Romeo, Corey, Cinnamon, Heavenly, Patrick, Marquise, and Keena; aunts: Penny (Daniel), Melody (Willie), Denise (Brian), Lisa; uncles: Kenneth, Daniel (Geraldine) and Kennith; and friends YC, Marco, Betty, Karen and Cornell; Godsister Betty, and fiancée Lexus Simms; and a host of cousins and friends  On Monday January 23, 2023 we lost a beloved son, father, brother, nephew, uncle and friend too early.  Our family was not expecting the loss of Lecon or for his life to be cut so short so soon.  We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of him forever.  We celebrate Lecon’s life today, as we have known.  His smile and laughter will forever warm our hearts and his memory will never fade.  Family will receive friends at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd. on Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM, at which time there will be a private service, Revs. William "Billie" Spencer & Raymond Ballard officiants.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.
