Mary N. Jackson, 89, Johnstown, died November 17, 2023. Born August 6, 1934, in Dawson, Georgia, daughter of the late Fess and Carrie (Smith) Toney, also predeceased by husband Earl Jackson, Sr., daughter Darnell Veney; siblings, Willie Bell, Fess Toney, Jr., Ida Britt, Lois McDaniels, Alraphus Toney, Edward Toney, and Doris Tisinger; and son-in-law Frederick Bing. Leaving to mourn her are children, Earl Jackson, Jr. and companion Denise Cotton, Mary Louise Andrews, Diane Cashaw Bing, Terry Jackson, and companion Rose Myers, and Sheila Jackson; in-laws Chris Veney and Dora Jackson; also her siblings Joann Lawrence, Creola Baxter Rawls, Ruby Toney and Emmanuel Toney and wife Linda; sister-in-law Ernestine Bell; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a long standing, devoted member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where Homegoing services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM, Rev. Dr. Ralph Johnson officiant.The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. at 1. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd, are handling arrangements.
