Mary Kathryn Weinzierl

Mary Kathryn “Mary Kay” Weinzierl, born August 3rd 1939, passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work and devotion to her family.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas D. Weinzierl; her parents Thomas E. Morris and Anna Bitszko Morris.

Mary Kay is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Weinzierl and her boyfriend Michael Marsh; her son, Thomas Weinzierl, and wife Amy Walker Weinzierl; and her cherished grandchildren, Emma and Cade.  She is also survived by her siblings: Harriet “Sis” Price, widow of Gerald Price; Thomas “Buck” Morris and wife Audrey; Kenneth “Jim” Morris, widower of Helen; Stanley Morris; Robert Morris and wife Carol; and Gisele Andolina and husband James, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mary Kay worked as an LPN at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown, PA, until 1965.  In 1971, she and her late husband went into business opening a Gulf gas station and garage that later became a BP.

Mary Kay enjoyed taking Sunday rides and having dinner with her family.  She also enjoyed spending time gambling and going to Crazy Eight camp

She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Mary Kay at 10:00 AM, on Friday February 20, 2026 at Our Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church, the Rev. Mark Begly officiant.
