Melissa A. Thomas

Melissa A. Thomas, 47, Alverda, died October 26, 2025.  Born May 9, 1978, in Johnstown, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Haselrig) Thomas, also preceded in death by her sister Roxann Oda, uncles Marvin, Carlton, Curtis, Bernard, Fred, Ronald, and Charles; and also her aunt Audrey Haselrig.  She is survived by sisters Charlene Langlais, NY, Pamela Whitlow, Georgia, and Janice Thomas, Johnstown, and brother Richard Thomas, Boston; also uncles Bruce Haselrig, and wife Ednita (Stewart), Johnstown, and Lance Haselrig and wife Pamela (Jones), California; and aunt Cheryl (Thomas) Sullivan and husband James, Johnstown.  Also surviving are a host of family and friends.  And the family would like to extend a special acknowledgement to Dawn Gray and Joe Thomas and Lifestyle Support Services.  Friends will be received on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd.  Rev. Clyde Williams, Jr. officiant.
