Michael Dion Lockwood was born on December 13, 1965 to Patricia D. Lockwood and the late Joseph Ralph Lockwood, at Hadley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. he resided in Washington and attended D.C. public schools, until the 9th grad, when he Rabaut Junior High School. Shortly thereafter, he relocated to Johnstown, PA to live with his father.
Michael worked as a barber, newspaper carrier, dog breeder, bouncer, stock clerk, construction worker, landscaper, social media influencer and comedian. He was truly a jack of all trades and mastered quite a number of skills. If he shown how to do a job, he had no problem doing it. It is fair to say, he didn’t stay on jobs very long.
Michael was married to Amanda Carloni Lockwood and to the union a son was born, Allizaire Michael Lockwood. Michael’s marriage ended in divorce, and his son preceded him in death.
Michael was found unresponsive in his home on Wednesday, November 23, 2021. He was pronounced dead by the coroner on that date and the death date is reported to have been on November 22, 2021.
Michael led a troubled life and most of the time he marched to the beat of his own drum, different from everyone else. He did things his way, no matter the consequence. And let’s not forget how humorous he was, Michael was filled with jokes and could make just about anybody Laugh.
Michael did not attend church, but he did believe in GOD and carried his faith with him throughout his life.
Michael leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his mother, Patricia Lockwood; his sister, Kellene Davis; aunts, Carolyn D. Davis, Joyce C. Flowers, Phillis C. Reid; nephews, Zachary G. Morgan and Quincy L. Davis; niece, Forrest M. Davis; cousins, Natalie and Elena Flowers, LaShan Reid, Addison L. Davis III; and a devoted and long time friend, Deborah Kirby and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Noon.
