Patrice Nicole Hart

Patrice Nicole Hart, 37, of Johnstown, PA, passed away softly in her sleep on October 27, 2025.  Born on July 23, 1988 in Johnstown, she was the beloved daughter of Patricia Hart and the late Samuel Hart II. 

Patrice was preceded in death by her loving father, Samuel Hart II; her paternal grandparents, Rev. Sammie L. and Eva (Crawford) Hart; and her maternal grandparents Lillie and Nathaniel Hardrick.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her precious son, Xavier Thomas, Jr.-her pride and joy; her devoted mother, Patricia Hart; her loving brother, Lt. (US Navy) Samuel Hart III of Virginia Beach, VA.  She is also survived by her niece Mya Hart; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; her devoted cousin, Carmen McBride (Anton); and her Godsister, Iesha Ferguson.  Patrice also shared a deep and lasting bond with her special friends, Regina Floyd & Maurice Davis and Chante McGowan, all who will miss her dearly. 

A proud graduate of Greater Johnstown Senior High School, Class of 2006.  Patrice went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2010.  She began her professional journey in social work services, dedicating herself to helping others, and later fulfilled her dream of traveling the world as a former flight attendant for American Airlines. 

Patrice had a giving soul and a heart full of light.  She was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, a loyal sister, and a true friend to many.  Her radiant smile could brighten any room, and her warm hugs left a lasting impression on everyone she met.  Patrice had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh, always finding joy and light even in life’s smallest moments. 

She was passionate about volleyball, a sport she played throughout high school and continued to enjoy into adulthood.  In her spare time, she also enjoyed playing pool.  Patrice loved playing Call of Duty.  She loved traveling, sharing good food, and creating unforgettable memories with her family and friends.

Patrice’s bright spirit, loving nature, and joyful laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. 

Friends will be received on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at noon at the Stevens Memorial Holy Church, 314 Wm. Penn Ave., Johnstown, PA., Rev. Charles Johnson officiating
