Phoebe Reighard

Phoebe Reighard, 87, Johnstown, died August 27, 2026 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born March 4, 1939, daughter of the late George W. and Rebekah (Gilbert) Reighard.  Also preceded in death by infant siblings Dennis and Janet. Phoebe is survived by an extended and loving  family, and many close dear friends.  Phoebe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Education in Guidance from Indiana University of PA.  She was employed at the North Star School District for 35 years as a health and physical education teacher, basketball coach, volleyball coach and softball coach and a guidance counselor.  Friends will be received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd. on Monday from 11 AM until time of service at 2PM.  Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cambria County Human Society or a charity of your choice.
