Richard G. Smith

Richard G. Smith, 64, Johnstown, died December 1, 2021.  Born September 9, 1957, in Johnstown, son of the late Dwayne and Wilma (Ramesdorfer) Smith, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Timmy; granddaughter, Sadie; and niece, Kelsey.  He is survived by his wife, Cynthia A. (Bobak) Smith, daughter Jodi Ann Mitrus (Andy); son Lonnie Smith; grandchildren, Zachary Burkhart,  Adaleen Mitrus, and Fox Smith.  Brother of Charlotte Hagen (Jim); Matthew Smith (Margie); Maureen Smith; and Clifford Smith (Nicolette), and also numerous nieces and nephews.  Ricky retired from AT&T where he was a Senior Technician, and a pioneer in fiber optics splicing.  Friends will be received on Monday from 1-3 and 5-7, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd., where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Deacon Thomas Buige officiating.
