Robert Charles “Bob”Erdley, 88, Johnstown, died June 28, 2022 in Johnstown surrounded by his family. Born December 8, 1933, in Johnstown, son of the late Valentine and Priscilla (Turoczi) Erdelyi. He was also preceded in death by wife Delores Joanna Arena, infant daughter Kathleen, sisters Janet Rillo, Ann Spenik, Clara Blough, Eleanor Gost; and brothers Paul and William. Survived by sons, Martin (Vicki Hawthorne) and Randy (Suzanne Kaslly), of Johnstown; grandchildren, Aubrey (Benjamin Garvin); Martin II, all of Pittsburgh and Danielle Nicole of Grand Haven, Michigan, and Jon Kaslly of Johnstown; great grandchildren Isabella, Cayson and Hunter Garvin, Pittsburgh. Also survived by in laws Josephine Arena, Joanna (Robert Watkins), Diana ( Adam Weigel), Rita Locher and Patrick Gehret; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Gautier Division and a was a member of Johnstown Wood Carvers Club and the former St. John’s United Church of Christ. Private interment Grandview Cemetery. Family is being served by Picking Treece Bennett Mortuary.
