Ronald Lee Fisher, 37, Arbutus, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on December 14, 2019, at home. He was born May 10, 1982 in Johnstown, son of Jackie and Cheryl Fisher. Preceded in death by father and sister Shawna Fisher. He is survived by children whom he loved dearly, Ramir and Ryleigh Fisher, Johnstown. Also survived by siblings Alexis Fisher, Pittsburgh; Cameron Fisher, Jackie Fisher Jr., and Jason Minahan, all of Johnstown. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Godmother Sylvia Wright. Ron loved his community and it’s people. He was a talented journalist for the Tribune Democrat and Soul Pitt Magazine. Ron received a Redeemed Men of God Man of the Year recognition (2019) and was first place winner of Pittsburgh Black Media Federation (2016). Previously, he hosted the local television show “Perspectives”. He was also involved in the local chapter of the NAACP. Ron always found positivity in life and made everyone laugh. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Wednesday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, Rev. Dr. Ralph Johnson, officiating. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
