Ruth E. (Just) Hack

Ruth E. (Just) Hack, 97, Johnstown, died February 15, 2022.  She was born June 26, 1924, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Fred W., Sr. and Florence A. (Momberger) Just, also predeceased by husband, Edward C. Hack, Brothers George W., Robert E., Fred W., Donald E.; and sister Mary Louise Stackhouse; and special nieces and nephew, Margie Just Nestler, Doris Hack Poad and Caleb McKenzie Baker.  Survived by sister-in-law, Kay Hack, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins of the Hack, Just, Bennett, Momberger, Doyle, Johns and Stackhouse families, who all loved her very much.  Ruth retired from Lee Hospital, where she worked as an LPN, and was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church.  Ruth was a volunteer with Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries, and a long-time member of the Ferndale Jubilee Auxiliary, and various senior and church groups throughout the Johnstown area.  She and Ed enjoyed spending time in Florida, travelling to Lancaster, and spending time with family.  She enjoyed baking and trying new recipes from her cookbooks.  Friends will be received Thursday, from11:00 AM to the time of services at noon, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to ALSM, 807 Goucher St., Johnstown, PA 15905.
