Ruth L. Hess

Hess, Ruth L., 102, Johnstown, died September 13, 2020 at the Allegheny Lutheran Home.  Born November 7, 1917 in Johnstown, daughter of the late John T. and Edith (Custer) Llewellyn.  Also preceded in death by husband Jack Hess in 2014. Survived by daughter Jane Meade (Robert), Springfield, VA, and son John Hess (Donna), Wake Forest, NC; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.  Ruth was a graduate of Ferndale Area High School and Bucknell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Finance.  Contributions may be made to the Second Presbyterian Church.  At Ruth’s request, services will be private.
