Sandra Jean Stevens

Sandra Jean Stevens, 85, of Johnstown, died May 9, 2024.  She was born September 3, 1938, in Chambersburg, daughter of the late Robert E. and Esther E. (Wallech) Bietsch, and also preceded in death by her son Raymond, son-in-law Don Saunders and ex-husband Ron Stevens.  She is survived by children Robert Stevens, and Lisa Stevens, both of Johnstown, and Michelle Saunders, of Beaver Falls; grandchildren Alisha Reese (Shawn), Ashley Saunders (Kurtis), Alexis Wodarek (RJ) and Jenna Stevens; and great-grandchildren Colton, Lacey and Aubrey; and sisters Mary Jane Bittle (R. Harry) and Anne DallaValle (Joseph).  Sandra enjoyed her time working as a secretary at Johnstown School District, especially her time working for Wally Leech.  She was a former Brownie leader and a 7th Ward Committee Woman, and enjoyed anything political.  Friends will be received at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, West Hills, on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at noon.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sandra’s name may be directed to the Girl Scouts.
