Sara J. (Goss) Boast

Sara J. Boast, 84, Johnstown, died January 13, 2025.  She was born June 16, 1940, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert and Katherine (Quinn) Goss. Also preceded in death  by siblings Charles Robert, James Goss, Anna Dick, Marion Catherine and Jane Goss.  She is survived by sons Robert J. Boast (Nicolle), and their children Matthew, Brittany, David and Courtney; Jeffrey A. Boast (Michele) and their children Paige and Noah; and Richard P. Boast (Courtney) and their daughter, Amber; siblings Kathleen Spyrellis, Lewis John Goss and Bill Goss and numerous great-grandchildren. Sara was a beautician for many years before she realized just how much she enjoyed making candy at O’Sheas.  Friends will be received at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd., Friday 4-7, and where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM, Rev Michael Van Dyke officiant.  Entombment Richland Mausoleum.
