Sue E. Karmanocky, 86, Johnstown, passed away February 21, 2024. Born January 25, 1938, in Olean, NY, daughter of Orville and Margaret (Cunningham) Brockitt Schoolmaster. Preceded in death by her parents, step-father Frank Schoolmaster, her loving husband Francis M., siblings, Virginia Marra, Betty Halpenny and Billie Williams. Survived by children Frank Jr. and wife Karen (Will), Deborah Flynn and husband David and Thomas, and wife Debra (Bittner), all of Johnstown; grandchildren Frank III, Jennifer, Patrick, Cristy (PJ), Tyler (Jenn), Jason Rex and Jessica Rex Savering (Adam); and great-grandchildren Addilyn, Julia, Logan and Brock. Sue was a member of Roxbury Civic Group and Silver Sneakers, and retired from Riverside Market and Johnstown School District, and enjoyed cooking for her family, gambling trips and sudoku. She was a member of Visitation of BVM Catholic Church, where the funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10:00 AM, concelebrants Rev. John Slovikowski and Rev. Bernard Karmanocky. Interment Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd.
