Susan R. Holsopple

Susan R. Holsopple, 71, Johnstown, joined her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2025, with family by her side after a short illness.  Born on November 9, 1953, in Johnstown, to the late W.R. (Bill) and Helen E. Kellar.  She is survived by Dennis Holsopple, her devoted husband of 51 years; her two children, Carrie (Douglas) Bowers, Pittsburgh, and Ethan (Bethany) Holsopple, Johnstown; and her three grandchildren, Hayden and Riley Holsopple and Eden Bowers, all of whom she cherished with all of her heart.  She also left behind her two beloved dogs.  Susan was a 1971 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and went on to work as an LPN for Mercy Hospital. Later in life, Sue worked as a manicurist for Roots Hair Salon, owned and operated by her husband, Denny.  She spread laughter wherever she went and will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially Denny, Carrie, and Ethan who are heartbroken by this sudden loss.
