Suzi Knight

Suzi Knight, 73, Johnstown, passed away October 13, 2023.  She was born April 5, 1950 in Tokyo, Japan, daughter of Thomas and Teiko (Suzuki) Simms.  Preceded in death by her parents, infant son Nathaniel Scott Simms, and former spouse James Knight, Sr.  She is survived by her children, Yevette Knight, Johnstown; Regina Donaldson, North Carolina; Tamica Klatt (Brian), North Carolina; and James Knight , Jr., Johnstown; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and her seven siblings Thomas Simms, Jr, Nathaniel Simms (Claudia), Betty Simms, Anthony Simms (Rachel), John Simms (Evangeline), Linda Smith (Don), and Monica Simms, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  At her request there will be no visitation, and private services will be held at a later date. The family would like to give a sincere and heartfelt thanks to Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  The family is being served by Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary.
