Thaddeus "Ted" Kot

Thaddeus “Ted” Kot passed away on January 30, 2026 at his residence, at the age of 79. He was born on December 14, 1946 to the late Frank J. and Sophie (Toma) Kot. He is preceded in death by his parents and 15 siblings. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Sandy (Shrack) Kot in 2003. Survived by his children, Dolores, T.J. Kot(Danielle), Denise(Darryl), and Jeff Kot(Rhonda); and grandchildren, Jason, Courtney, T.J., Caleb, Kaitlin, Kala(Tyler), Alex(Sydney), and Nicole(Bryce). He worked for Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years. He loved visiting the library and watching history shows. He never missed a Saturday night pizza. He loved his grandchildren and especially his great-grandchildren; Charlotte, Zeke, Zoey (resting with the angels), Masae, Emma, Macie and Teddy; who called him “Old Pap.” He will be greatly missed. Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 4-6 at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary.  Funeral services will be private for the family.
