William F. Blum

William F. Blum, 78, Johnstown, died on November 26, 2023.  Born on December 18, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, son of Charles V. and Margaret (Lochte).  Preceded in death by parents and wife, the former Phyllis Kowal.  Survived by sister, Susan Blum; brothers Robert, Michael, and Stephen, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  He was formerly employed as a shop supervisor at Standard Forge Products.  He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.  Friends will be received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd. from 4-7 PM on Wednesday.  Funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Thursday at St. Andrews, Rev. Peter Crowe officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Andrews Catholic Church, 1621 Ferndale Ave., Johnstown, PA  15905.
