William L. Rager, Jr.

William L.. Rager, Jr., 88, Johnstown, died December 21, 2019. Born October 4, 1931. Preceded in death by father William Richardson, Sr., mother Jennie (Rager) Richardson who died giving birth to William and a stillborn twin.  He was adopted by his grandparents after his mother died.  Bill is preceded in death by his adoptive parents Mahlon and Mary Rager, sisters Garnet (McDowell), Elsie and Ethel Mae; brothers Harold, Mahlon Jr., Delbert, Charles, Wayne and Harry.  He is survived by many nieces and nephews and special friend, Pat Farwell.  Bill served on the board of directors for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation for 24 years.  He attended Oakland United Methodist Church.  There will be no viewing.
