William J. Thompson

William J. Thompson, 71, Johnstown, died March 15, 2021.  Born March 20, 1949 in Johnstown, son of the late Florence Thompson.  Also preceded in death by sisters Georgeann Lingenfelter and Geraldine Zumick.  Survived by loving wife Debra E. (Wertz) Thompson; daughter Autumn Williams-Keller, South Fork, and son Aaron Wertz, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Destiny, Michael, Serena, Justin, Cody, Mason and Brian; along with great grandchildren Ryker, Atreyus and Koda and sister Phyllis.  He was a member of Grove Ave. United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received Thursday from 4 until time of service at 6 PM at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., Rev. Carol Hickman officiating.
